  1. Gift For A Friend Who Is Moving Away

    October 4, 2010 by barbara

A friend will be moving to North Carolina before Christmas.  Besides busy packing her things to be shipped, my friend is also looking around for health insurance in nc and other important matters for her move.  Two nights ago, a few of us got together to give our friend a farewell dinner.  We had dinner at a restaurant in downtown and then adjourned to a quaint cafe for coffee.  As a farewell gift, I gave her a cute Chloe bow key fob. Nice?  My friend loves it.

  2. Market Totes

    October 4, 2010 by barbara

I go grocery shopping once a week.  Most stores have opted for the “No Shopping Bag” Day during weekends.  Hence I have been using a recycle bag to keep my groceries, you know those free recycle bags you get when you have signed up for some telecommunication package.  I really need to get a more fun and colourful shopping bag like this Barcelona Stripe Market Tote.  It is durable and has a roomy interior.  I love the bold stripes and the bright colours.  Using the Barcelona Stripe Market Tote will definitely brighten up my shopping.

  4. Handmade Paper Dolls

    October 2, 2010 by barbara

Before I check out the health care job sites for my cousin, I would like to share with you what I found recently.  Lovely handmade paper dolls from Kirakirahoshi’s Shop.   There are sweet Korean couples, elegant Japanese girls in kimonos and pretty Chinese girls wearing costumes worn during the Qing Dynasty.  I also like the cute Indian ladies in sarees.  Each paper doll is about 15cm x 9cm and are great as cards, bookmarks and more.  If you like, you can even frame them up as a picture and hang on your wall.

      September 20, 2010 by barbara

How do you wash your bras? Do you hand-wash them or just toss them into the washing machine with the rest of your clothes?  If you do the later like me, then perhaps you may often find that your brassieres are torn or tattered after each wash.  Here is something which can help you to save some money from buying new bras.  The Bra Saver will protect your garment or other delicates in the washer.  This cylinder-shaped wash bag that provides room for all your fine washables without crushing padded or underwire bras.  How cool is that?  Besides blackhead removal, this Bra Saver from Lane Bryant will be in my shopping list this week.
