  1. Gift Idea For A Football Lover

    November 17, 2012 by barbara

Oh I am still in my holiday mode eventhough we have been back for a couple of days.  Please bear with me, ok?   During our vacation, we also managed to celebrate the birthday of my brother-in-law who was also on holiday with us.  We had a seafood dinner on his birthday and the restaurant is situated on a cliff, overlooking the sea.  The view was just spectacular.  Located next to the restaurant is a trendy beach front bar.  Right after dinner, we proceeded to the bar for some drinks and music.  Everyone had a great time and we thoroughly enjoyed the live music.  There were 2 entertainers as well as live bands delivering the best music on their korg kronos 88 Keyboard Workstation.  My brother-in-law received a Desktop Table Football from all of us since he is an ardent fan of football.

  6. Floral Mini Suitcase

    August 7, 2010 by barbara

My friend just called me up to tell me about some great dental care discounts which she found out yesterday. While chatting, she told me that she’s going to a beach holiday next week. Oh how I wish I could go with her.  I love the beach so much.  My friend also told me that she bought a floral meadow mini suitcase from Liberty.co.uk and she’s going to use it to pack her clothes.  I really like the floral mini suitcase.  It reminds me of a suitcase I used to have when I was a kid.

  7. A Great Bag For Short Trips

    July 10, 2010 by barbara

My friend, an insurance agent whom I bought my term life insurance from visited me a couple of days ago to show us some of her holiday photos.  She and her husband went to Singapore recently to visit the newly opened Universal Studios.  They were there for about a week and thoroughly enjoyed their trip.  My friend did a lot of shopping there too.  She told me that she did not take a lot of clothes with her because she wanted to shop in Singapore.   My friend even recommended that I buy the Reisentel Expandable Travel Bag from TouchofEurope.net.   The Reisentel bag is cute and functional.  It is an ideal bag for short trips.  You can carry the bag or strap it on the shoulder.   It is available in plain black, plain red or floral as shown in the picture below.  I think I am going to buy it since we often travel to local destinations.

  8. Digital Scale For Weighing Luggage Bags

    July 1, 2010 by barbara

While looking for a replacement Hinkley lighting, I stumbled upon this cool travel accessory called Weigh To Go.   This multi-functional accessory is compact and features a digital scale, identification tag and a built-in lock to prevent theft.  How cool huh?  I know this is something which my in-laws from Toronto should get because each time they come back for a vacation, they will buy so many things to take home.  Then they will be looking all over the place for a weighing scale to weigh their luggage bags.  With the Weigh To Go, they do not have to worry about overweight luggage.  The Weigh To Go is available at Quirky.com
