  1. Suicide Squad Harley Quinn Costume for Halloween

    October 19, 2016 by barbara

It’s only 12 days to Halloween. Are you excited? Have you got your costume ready?  Well, my kid just told me that she wants to be Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad this Halloween.  Guess what?  I don’t even know this movie.  So I had to Google to find out about Harley Quinn.  Boy, do I have to brush up on my makeup skill now.   I have to find her a wig and probably dye it too. Also on my list are the choker and the clothes.   So much to do, so little time.

  2. Fashion For Kids

    Prom Dresses London

I was reading this article from Who What Wear about how soon would you dress your child in designer clothes.  I have been seeing photos online of children dressing up like the adults and with coiffed hair.  There are also a number of instagram stars with thousands of followers. Unless you are born with a silver spoon, I don’t think one can afford designer clothing all the time especially children who grow out of their clothes very quickly.  As for me, I like to buy brands like Zara, H&M and Mango for my kid.  I love their style and they are easy on the pockets too. What about you? Do you dress your kids in designer clothes?

Isn’t this the most beautiful tutu you have ever seen?  I love to see little girls in tutus. I spotted this at bodieandfou.  Made from layer upon layer of chiffon frill and finished with a satin ribbon,  this tutu is just perfect for little girls.  Can be worn to parties or dressing up.   It has an elastic waist too.  I want to know if they have this in adult size as well because I would surely love to own one.

  7. Native Shoes For Girls

    October 6, 2013 by barbara

I was walking around the mall yesterday when I saw Native shoes on sale. They are so colourful and bright. Actually I have seen them online and at this shoe store many times but I did not get any for the missy because they are not cheap. However on that day, there was a 50% discount and I was ecstatic. I spotted this one …

Alas, they did not have missy’s size.  What a bummer.  I guess we will have to try other stores or perhaps wait for another sale to return.

  8. PinPres

    September 4, 2013 by barbara

This PinPres shelf reminds me of the pin toy games I used to play when I was a kid.  Do you remember this?  Ok back to this shelf.  It is made of natural pin plywood and is great for keeping the room neat.  It can hold toys, books and just about anything.  It is 100% handmade.  Check out Ooomydesign.com.

Omy Magic Decals from French Blossom is fun.  Just stick it onto any surfaces like walls, furniture, window, paper and etc and let your imagination go wild.  The Omy Magic Decals do not contain glue and will stick and unstick forever.  All you need to do is wash them off with water to make them stick like new again.    I am sure kids would love to have it in their playroom or bedroom.
