  1. Promod From France

    November 7, 2009 by barbara

One of my favorite clothing stores is Promod.  They have great clothes and are always so chic.  You can easily mix and match the clothes.  Promod’s clothes are just my style.   Here are some of my fav items from their online store.

    Butterfly sleeve top

    Oversized tee with face print

    Brut denim jeans

    Soft leather look tote

  2. Cool Tableware

    November 7, 2009 by barbara

My husband and I went to the mall a few days ago as he wanted to check out some home alarm systems.  While we were there, I went into a shop selling kitchen accessories and was bowled over by this sugar bowl. It is made of steel with a colored finish or stainless steel.  The lid is made of polished stainless steel.  Great for those who want to add a dash of colours in the kitchen.

  3. Hand-Painted Bead Bracelets

    November 5, 2009 by barbara

I am so addicted to this website – and have been browsing it for the last 30 minutes.  I should be looking for some health insurance leads but instead, I am staring at these beautiful accessories such as the Brown and Gold Bead Bracelet.  They are so unique and make a very good gift for those who are into one of a kind accessories.

Each item is made from hand-painted wooden beads and decorated with colourful flowers.

I like this red Rapture bracelet too.

  4. Flower BagPack

    November 3, 2009 by barbara

I love this cool idea.  Instead of using the normal cellophane wraps  or paper for your bouquet of flowers, the Flower BagPack is a great alternative.  It is eco-friendly and looks great.  The Flower BagPack is available in 2 versions – a one-time wrap made from recycled waste paper and cardboard or a reusable wrap made of cellulose and recycled leather scraps.  Lovely. I certainly do not mind receiving a bouquet in this stylish bagpack.

  5. Citrus Fruit Peeler

    November 3, 2009 by barbara

I always have a hard time peeling oranges.  So what I normally do is just cut the oranges with the skin intact and try not to eat into the skin.  I am so glad to stumble upon the Apostrophe Orange Peeler from Fitzsu.  It is a handy kitchen utensil that cuts just enough into the peel.  It is very easy to use and the peel will be removed in a jiffy.  The Apostrophe Orange Peeler is just as cool as those metal buildings. Makes a great housewarming gift.

Great for beach vacation eh?  Some of my favourites are below.

  8. Eyelash That Lights Up

    October 30, 2009 by barbara

I was looking for some antivirus software for my computer when I came across this LED eyelash.   This LED eyelash getup is by Soomi Park and uses a set of headphones to house the tilt sensor and other electronics. C’est bizarre if you ask me.  I know there are those who would want to stand out in the crowd but using this LED eyelash would probably freak some people out.  Oh well, Halloween is just a couple of days away and if you want to go Treat-O-Treating, then this LED eyelash is good :)

  9. Cool Lego Kitchen Island

    October 29, 2009 by barbara

I came across this really cool Lego Kitchen Island while blog-hopping earlier. Designers, Philippe Simon and Pillard Rosetti customized their Ikea kitchen island by using over 20,000 pieces of Lego. What a brilliant idea. I don’t know about you but I simply love this kitchen island.  It is definitely a great way to add some colours to the kitchen.   Lego fans out there are going to go goo-goo-ga-ga over this.  Well, for those who have Amish fireplaces, then I am afraid this colorful Lego kitchen island does not go well with your decor.
