  1. Decorating Children’s Bedroom

    January 16, 2010 by barbara

My soon-to-be 5 year old has been asking me to decorate her bedroom.  She told me that she wants her own room (we have been co-sleeping).  My baby is growing up fast.  It seems like just yesterday I was popping those prenatal vitamins.  I have been looking around for some ideas and spotted these cool stickers from

    Hopscotch stickers

    A pack of butterflies

I know my daughter would love to have these in her bedroom.  Check out if you are looking for ideas on how to decorate a children’s bedroom.

  2. Watch Season Of Fate Online

    January 15, 2010 by barbara

Yippee…I can finally watch this new TVB Drama – Season of Fate online.  I have been so busy lately that at the end of the day, I am just too tired to do anything.  Well, the weekend is here so I can start to watch this drama.  Season of Fate is a period drama which stars my favourite actors and actresses.  They are Roger Kwok, Esther Kwan and  Michele Yim.  Here is the synopsis from

Poor LIN SHEUNG CHUN (Kwan Wing Ho, Esther) is sold to KWAN’s family as a concubine but her husband passes away accidentally. Losing husband has caused the first wife WONG YEUK LAM (Michelle Yim) erratic behaviour. CHUN has no choice but to take up all family responsibilities including operation of the family’s bistro. During the time, MA WING CHING (Kwok Chun On) and LEI SHI MUI (Regen Cheung) are swindling around, their schemes get unveiled by CHUN. However, LAM mistakenly recognizes CHING as her senior apprentice and she runs after him all the time. CHING seizes the chance to swindle money by working at the bistro. After a series of incidents, CHUN and CHING unexpectedly have crush on each other. CHUN feels caught in the middle between CHING and her childhood friend LEUNG GAU MUI (Kok Ching Hung). All of a sudden, LAM’s second senior apprentice YAM FEI YEUNG (Ng Wai Kwok) returns home with his foster son YAM SHING TIN (Leung Lit Wai). YEUNG hopes to get LAM’s heart back to him but CHUN believes that he has intentions behind it. Coming as a surprise, she discovers the secret of CHING…

  3. Gingerbread House Cookies

    January 14, 2010 by barbara

I am so delighted to see this fantastic idea from Not Martha – Tiny Gingerbread housed perched on the edge of your mug.   I love sipping some hot chocolate or coffee.  Having a cute gingerbread house perched on my mug is just fabulous.  Ain’t she creative?  I wonder if she sells these Gingerbread Houses.  If she does, I know I will be ordering many of them…perhaps one for each day.  Yes, of course I would need some dieting pills later on but that’s alright. They are just too cute and yummy to ignore.

  5. Beautiful DragonFly Accent Light

    January 14, 2010 by barbara

During our previous vacation to the Big Apple, we stayed at a very nice hotel.  I still remember the time we had our coffee at the patio of the hotel.  The view was superb and the atmosphere was just wonderful.  The patio was beautifully decorated with flowers, stainless steel pinwheels, butterfly vases and dragonfly windchimes.  As soon as I saw these Dragonfly Accent Light, it brought me back to the time we spent in New York.   These solar-powered Dragonfly Accent Lights are indeed charming and eco-friendly.   They will automatically light up at dusk and burn brightly for 12 hours.  A nice addition to any home.  Ok, now I am still thinking about New York.  I better look up on travel new york again.

  10. Watch A Chip Off The Old Block Online

    December 28, 2009 by barbara

I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas celebration.  While hubs was fiddling with the faucets in the bathrooms during the holidays, I spent my time watching A Chip Off The Old Block online.  I enjoy watching this comedy a lot because I like 60’s fashion.  Also my favourite actors and actresses are in this 20-episode drama.  They are Ron Ng, Myolie Wu and Shirley Yeung.  I have watched 8 episodes so far.  What about you? Are you a fan of A Chip Off The Old Block too?  Next drama on my list is The Watchdog’s Tale.  I just can’t wait.
