My pants are tight. I know I have put on weight despite not eating much. However, I have a weakness for pastries and bread. Perhaps eating too much carbo is not good. I guess the best is to find ways to suppress appetite. I just weigh myself and I got a shock I need to lose at least 8kg. Hopefully I can lose weight before January next year as I have a high school reunion to attend.

If you love entertaining at home but are short on space, well no worries. There is a simple option available. Just get an extendable dining table. It gives you the opportunity to place a large dining table in a small apartment or a room. An extendable dining table can fit into a small room which takes only a minimum of space when it is needed for a small gathering. When you have a bigger crowd, it can be extended to seat all the guests. Tables like this is great to conserve and maximize space in the home.

I am quite fascinated with the Japanese craft using masking tape. The pretty Japanese masking tapes seem to be all the rage right now. So much can be done with the tapes. They are great for scrapbooking, packing embellishment, mini bunting and even gift packing. I think I want to try using some plain paper to wrap presents and then decorate it with cute masking tapes. You can find a wide range of Japanese Masking Tapes from online stores like Etsy.com, uguisu.ocnk.net and more.

I found some really cool recycled accessories while surfing the net. Thought I’ll share them with you here.
This super-soft and simple scarf is made from unused, reclaimed cotton T-shirt scraps that are collected from apparel factories. Wear one and it will make you feel like you are cuddling up in your favourite tee at home.
These messenger-style tote are made from real boat sails. Each bag has an authenticity tag which unfurls the life of the sail, the type of craft it guided, the type of sail it was and the sea it sailed upon.
This versatile accessory can be used as a necklace, headband, bracelet to a anklet. It is made from leftover t-shirt scraps collected from apparel factories. Each necklace includes 20 strings.

A friend of mine has recently moved into her new 2000 sq. ft. apartment. I was invited to her housewarming last weekend. I really love how she decorated her apartment. One thing that caught my eyes are the cute chalkboard self storage bins in her children’s room. My friend uses the bins to store the toys, books and other knick-knacks in the room. I would love to get a few for my bathroom or kitchen. The chalkboard bins are available at Rhbabyandchild.com.

I just found something really cool to help the weight-conscious to manage their weight. It is a Meal Measure from Amazon.com. It is very easy to use. Each Meal Measure cavity is one cup at the top with a one-half cup line inside. It follows the USDA My Pyramid serving size. Dishwasher safe. So if you do not wish to overeat, get one today.

I am in the mood for some retail therapy and hopped over to Ann Taylor. Boy, my heart was palpitating, just like when I first found the best blackhead remover. Its collection is just awesome. I just want to get my hands on the sweaters (I know, it is too warm over here to wear them), tops, pants and just about everything. Below are a few pieces which I love.
Cascading Flower Cardigan
Dolman Sleeve V Top
Brilliant Blue Modern Skinny Leg Jeans
