I know I should be looking for the best weight loss pills as I need to lose 5 pounds at least before the end of the month (miracle?) but I cannot help not posting about what I just saw. I do not know what has gotten into me lately because I just cannot take my eyes off wedges. I have been thinking a lot about them and visualizing how I would look in a pair of clogs. Here are a few of my favourite designs.
Osaka Wood Wedge from Free People
Swedish Clog by Swedish Hasbeens from Free People
The Westway clog from Madewell

In the mid 90’s, I bought myself a clear tote bag from Esprit. I loved the bag as it was big and I can fit many things inside it. Of course the contents of the bag were visible to many people. I usually kept my things in a medium size fabric bag and then put the said bag into the clear tote. I want a little bit of privacy especially when it comes to my makeup set, hoodia gordonii pills or my purse which I carry in my bag. Alas, after a few months, the plastic turned yellowish and I discarded it. Earlier today when I was at the mall, I saw a lady carrying a Polo Ralph Lauren Clear Pony Tote. It sure brought back memories of my Esprit bag. Now I am really interested in getting this Clear Pony Tote.

We still cannot decide what toys to get our daughter for Christmas. She did tell us that she would like to have a High School Musical school bag 🙂 I was looking around on the internet and saw the cute personalized Alphabet Plates. Meal time have never been this magical. Made of melamine, you can pick a hair style, hair colour, eye colour, skin colour, accessories, the colour of the plate and personalized words or name for your child’s plate. What a cool idea. Maybe we should also get her a personalized plate. Oh so many things to choose from. I hope we can make up our mind very soon.

I was looking for a cheap car insurance for my cousin when my spouse asked me to check out this cute Kidscraft Playhouse Creation Cottage from Neiman Marcus. It is a great activity for kids who love to paint and colour. We think that our 5 year old will be very happy to have one to play with. This awesome color-it-yourself cottage can help kids to cultivate their imagination. The white cardboard consists of one door cutout, two window cutouts and one skylight cutout. We are still thinking if we should get it for Christmas or her birthday next year.

Have you checked out the Fall Collection of Promod? I was walking around the mall last week when I stopped to check out its collection. Boy, they are absolutely gorgeous. Love all the designs and fall colours. I have a thing for camel, brown and earthy tones. Below are a few of my favourite items at their store.
Printed smocked top
Turn-up shorts in faux suede. I have my eye on this pair of cute shorts.
Straight Leg Trousers
Fringed High Heeled Slip-Ons. This is in my shopping list as well 😉

Leg warmers were the fashion staplers in the 70’s and 80’s. Remember Flashdance and the aerobic-crazy trend? It was fun and cool to wear them and I signed up for an aerobic class after watching Flashdance just so that I can wear leg warmers. Like heated blanket, leg warmers are cozy accessories to help keep your legs warm in winter. Well, leg warmers are making a comeback now. They seem to be a fashion statement and are perfect for tights or skinny jeans. If you are looking for one, check out this cute Crochet Flower Leg Warmers from Shop Ruce. Available in different colours.

A friend will be moving to North Carolina before Christmas. Besides busy packing her things to be shipped, my friend is also looking around for health insurance in nc and other important matters for her move. Two nights ago, a few of us got together to give our friend a farewell dinner. We had dinner at a restaurant in downtown and then adjourned to a quaint cafe for coffee. As a farewell gift, I gave her a cute Chloe bow key fob. Nice? My friend loves it.
