I am sure everyone has read or watched Oprah Winfrey’s stirring acceptance speech at the Golden Globe 2018 Award. Her memorable and poignant speech got everyone on their feet. The powerful former US talk show host, philanthropist used her Cecil B DeMille Award acceptance speech to express gratitude to all women who have endured years of abuse and assault.
“What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have”. I love this!
Golden Globes 2018 Red Carpet Look
Here are the latest Red Carpet looks from the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Most of the actresses and actors chose all black in solidarity with Time’s Up, an initiative formed by some of the Hollywood’s most prominent women to combat sexual harassment. Some actresses like Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, Emma Watson were accompanied by activists on the red carpet.

Lady Gaga Went Hiking In Heels
Lady Gaga was spotted with her boyfriend, Christian Carino at a hike in Montauk, New York. She was sashaying down the rugged mountain road in her one-shouldered ruffled crop top, maxi skirt and Louboutin pumps. She really has her own style. Keen to follow her style? I would think that a pair of hiking shoes is safer if you want to go for a weekend hike.

Billboard Music Award 2017 Red Carpet
The Billboard Music Award just took place yesterday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. I love the Billboard Music Award because this is the show where that honors some of the hottest names in music. I get to watch my favourite singers belting out their latest hits and giving out superb performances. What I would not miss is the Red Carpet session before the start of the award show. Everyone will be wearing their finest Evening Dresses to this event. I love to see what the celebrities wore when they strut down the red carpet. So who wore the best dressed that night? Do you have a favourite when you watched the Billboard Music Award? Well, I have a few on my list.

Cher is this year’s Icon Award recipient and she wasn’t afraid to show some skin. The pop superstar took the stage belting out her famous 90’s hit “Believe”. She wore a body-revealing outfit with a white wig. Then later, she took to the stage again and sang “If I Could Turn Back Time” in a rocker style leather jacket and black hair.
While many celebrities wore maxi dresses that night, some decided to be different. One of the most talked-about outfit is the one worn by Ashley Tisdale. It is a simple black jumpsuit that oozes a lot of style and class.

MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017
Were you sitting in front of the tv with your nachos ready and watched the MTV Movie & TV Awards last night? It was hosted by comedian and actor Adam Devine (not Adam Levine) who started the show with an over the top musical number from Beauty and The Beast. I love the electrifying “Hey Ma” performance by Pitbull and J Balvin which also featured Camila Cabello. I wonder if the Schecter guitars were used.

Oscar 2017 Best Dressed
The 89th Academy Awards show was held last night. As usual, the red carpet event is one of the highlights of the night. Well, actually, the mixed-up for Best Picture took the cake. Grammy Award 2017 Fashion
So it was the 59th Annual Grammy Award ceremony two nights ago. I have always loved watching the Grammys because I get to watch my favourite artists performing. I also like to look at the Grammys Red Carpet. Some of the fashions are really gaudy and weird and it gets weirder every year. However, there are also some notable styles that are winning the red carpet. I have here some of my favourites. Oh not forgetting, one of the performances that I really enjoyed watching with the speakers blasting out loud is the tribute to Bee Gees by Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, Little Big Town and Andra Day.

Beyonce Is Having Twins
Have you heard the latest news about Queen Bee? She made an announcement on her Instagram that she is expecting twins with her hubby, Jay Z. Within the first hour, her post had over 2.4 million likes and over 160,000 comments . The social media went on a frenzy since The Carters’ announcement. Some internet sleuths even tried to predict the gender of the babies based on the outfit Beyonce was wearing during her pregnancy photo shoot.
The couple got married in 2008 and has an older daughter, Blue Ivy. Congratulations to the Carters. Suddenly I feel like listening to some Beyonce’s songs on my monitor.
