So the Golden Globes Award took place on Sunday night.  We were all excited to see the red carpet and one trend that seemed to be the rage right now more than others.  It is no other than the puffy, voluminous statement sleeve that most gorgeous celebrities wore at this star-studded awards show.

We all know that puffy sleeves have been a major trend over the last few seasons, whether in colorful cropped versions for spring and summer or spotted on cozy sweaters for the cooler fall and winter months. During the award show, the celebrities like Beyonce really took the look to a new level with their designer ensembles. Check out below.

    January 6, 2020 by barbara

The Golden Globe Awards 2020, honoring the best in television and film, kicked off tonight at Los Angeles and the red carpet has been swarming with celebrities wearing the hottest trend right now.  Before I go into who what wear on the red carpet, let’s move over to Beyonce.  She was reportedly not at the red carpet which left everyone puzzled why she was not seen.  Apparently, they were an hour late and this is Beyonce’s first appearance after more than a decade.  The camera then captured power couple seated at the event.  The internet went absolutely crazy when it showed Beyonce wearing her iconic Golden Globes gown.  It is a black dress with a blown-up gold puffy sleeve.   It is mind-blowing and safe to say that the puffy sleeves trend is going to be huge this year.

  3. Controversial Leggings Approved By JLo

    December 27, 2019 by barbara

I always marvel at how some women can look so good and clean in white leggings.  I mean, how can they pull it off? Just like nude, white leggings are pretty revealing and not many women look good in them. I usually stick to black or dark-colored leggings.  Do you know that white is the second bestselling color after black? White is the new neutral that everyone is re-discovering.

Just recently, Jennifer Lopez who is known for her daring and attention-grabbing outfits, appeared in her workout outfit in Miami.  She was wearing a tie-dye Myrrhe sweatshirt, coral Nikes and none than a pair of white leggings from Niyama Sol.

Of course, J.Lo pulls off this look effortlessly.  It won’t be long before other celebrities and Instagrammers would start sporting the controversial style.

  6. Beauty Tricks By Celebrities On Looking Young

    August 15, 2019 by barbara

It is no wonder that celebrity icons such as Naomi Watts, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, and so many others become unofficial beauty experts. They always appear well-groomed when in public spaces.  Coiffed, groomed, lacquered, and primped since they were at a tender young age, these women have grown up alongside the best makeup artists, skin experts, and hairstylists in the industry. Therefore, they are bound to acquire bountiful beauty knowledge, and many of them have even introduced their own lines, brands, collections, and collaborations.  Do you wonder why celebrities look much younger than their actual age?

With all eyes on them, celebrities are under constant pressure to look fabulous. Needless to say, they also work with the best professionals when it comes to makeup artists, hair stylists and fitness instructors to help them look their best, which explains why they are often privy to the best beauty secrets and makeup tips.  Celebrities rely on makeup artists to make them look like goddesses. You can get the same results by getting your face done using Huda Beauty Palate, which is filled with vibrant, highly-pigmented shades.

Some beauty and makeup tips include:-

    1.  Use a product that colors correctly.
    2. Choose a long-wear eye shadow in a neutral shimmery shade. It creates additional texture on the eye, while also adding a lifting effect.
    3.  Dark matte colors can make the lips look thinner while nudes wash people out.  Try using berry shades or a rosy-tinted lip balm.
    4. Always use sunscreen.
    5. Remember to remove all your makeup before bed.

With the right products and a strategic application, you really can look younger with makeup.  You may want to check out some wholesale makeup for a refreshing new look.

This is a favorite beauty quote by Calvin Klein: “The best thing is to look natural, but it takes makeup to look natural.”

Jennifer Lopez just turned 50 years old yesterday and boy does she look hot at her lavish birthday bash.  The fete was sponsored by clothing companies – PrettyLittleThing and Quay Australia and it took place at Gloria Estefan’s private home in Miami.  The decor of the party was gold and white, a bustling dance floor and attended by star-studded guests including DJ Khaled and Ashanti.

Jennifer was decked out in a shimmery metallic dress which was custom-made by Versace, of course with dramatic cutouts and gladiator-style straps across her chest. She paired the look with diamond-studded hoops by Lana and golden platform pumps.
