Spotted and Love

Have you checked out GapKids lately?  I was at their website just now and fell in love with its collection.  The clothes are just so cool and trendy.  GapKids have the most awesome clothes for kids.   I love shopping there for my 6-year old.  What caught my eyes is their Butterfly Island and Coral Collections. They are incredibly chic and have picked out a few pieces which I think are really nice.  I better hurry and finish up reading about the best creatine supplement before I check out the Womens collection.

Birthday Presents For A Six-Year Old

My daughter will be celebrating her birthday next month.  I can’t believe that she’s going to be 6 soon.  Time sure flies.  I am planning a simple birthday celebration for her at the park with her friends.  I have been busy planning for her birthday like sending out the invitations, deciding on the type of food and making party packs. When it comes to gift for her birthday, I found a few really awesome things at Personal Creations.  It is really hard to pick out a gift since everything is so lovely there.  Perhaps I could get her aunts and grandparents to buy her gifts at Personal Creations too.  I have narrowed down to a few things.

Birthday Gift For A Six Year Old

My daughter will be celebrating her 6th birthday next month.  I still have not decided what present to give her.  My spouse suggested that we get her a bicycle since she has been asking for one with a basket when she saw it at a bicycle shop in the mall.  Oh, she also prefers one that is pink as pink is her favourite colour.  I wonder if we could find a folding bike too.  It would be easy to bring along to the park.  If not, we may need to get a thule bike rack for our car.

Wash and Brush Timer For Kids

Kids, mine included, do not like to wash their hands or brush their teeth. Even if they do, they tend to do it as quickly as possible, which is not really a good thing because they won’t be able to wash away the germs effectively.  This Wash & Brush 2-Minute Timer is designed to teach the children to slow down.   Press the appropriate button and the green light will start flashing.  When its near the expiry period, the light flashes faster and then turn red when done.  This timer is a fun way to promote good hygiene in children.  So each time when the child wants to wash his/her hands or brushes their teeth, let them press the button and start washing away. Tooth Fairy Pillow

pillow

Children start to lose their baby teeth as early as 4 years old. When that happens, a visit by the Tooth Fairy is a big event in a child’s life.   The tooth will be picked up by the Tooth Fairy and in exchange, it will leave a reward for the lost tooth.  Teeth awaiting pickup can be kept in this adorable Tooth Fairy Pillow from Ultimate Tooth Fairy.  The pocket is just inside the case and it is just the right size for holding the little tooth. This pillow features a unique design of an owl and birds on pink blossom branches and the phrase “Whooo lost a tooth today? Before your child calls it a night just place this cute pillow next to him or her  to create a memorable experience.
