Recycled Tin Cans

You know, this DIY stuff is really making me fall head over heels in love with arts and crafts especially when it comes to paper crafts.  I am glued to the computer most of the time browsing creative blogs and pinterest.  If only I have more time.  I would love to just sit down and do my crafts.  Sometimes I even wish that my family or friends are planning a wedding so that I can help with some decor stuff.  I saw this cute idea on recycling tin cans into centerpieces at reuseandupcycle.blogspot.com.

DIY Paper Flowers For Valentine’s Day

I was at a craft blog earlier today and stumbled upon a very creative idea of making your own paper flowers.  Rhonnadesigns.blogspot.com has a tutorial video on how to make flowers with coffee filters.  Ain’t that awesome?  It is really very easy to do.  All you need is a pack of coffee filters, glue gun and stapler.

I just came across this lovely online gift shop that offers items which are uniquely Japanese. I have a friend who loves everything about Japan. Its culture, fashion, food and etc. I am sure she will be thrilled to know this online store.  I browse through the website just and found a few things that I really like.

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

The time of the year has arrived.  In another 2 more weeks, the long school holidays will began.  I am thinking of getting my daughter’s class teachers a gift each.  I was at Pinterest and saw many great ideas on what to get and how to wrap them.  They are so inspiring.  A friend suggested that I shop Shari’s Berries baskets for the teachers.  Shari’s Berries baskets are great too.  Even I would love to receive one, especially the Spa Gift Basket.

Wish Lanterns For Wedding

Recently, I attended my cousin’s wedding which was held at the beach.  The wedding was beautiful and I love how rustic furniture was used as wedding decor. The wedding’s theme was yellow and white.  Mason jars were used to hang tea lights from the palm trees.  There were seashells on the tables and the guest chairs were tied with burlaps and yellow ribbons.  It was just breathtaking.  After the exchanging of vows, my cousin and her groom released a Wish Lantern into the sky.  Wedding lanterns are gaining popularity now and they add an extra special element to the wedding.  You can check out WishLantern.com for more information.

The Cupcake Wrapper

This week and the week after are going to be busy for me.  Besides helping a friend to look for a debt collection agency, there is a birthday party to attend on Saturday, Children’s Day at my daughter’s school as well as a Tea Party on the last day of school.  I plan to prepare something for the kids in school for Children’s Day and Tea Party.   After seeing the sweet cupcake wrappers at TheCupCakeWrapperCo.bigcartel.com, I am tempted to bake some cupcakes and prepare some party snacks.  These cupcake wrappers are so stylish and are great for decorating the cupcakes.  Can’t wait to get them.
