Keep Your Cables Organized

My husband was on the computer a while ago looking for 24 hour towing and I quickly asked him to also check out anything that can keep the cables organized.  I have a big problem with cables all over the desk and floor.  What a big mess.  Well, I am glad that he found Cordies, a on-your-desk cable management system which organizes the computer cables and also keeping them weighed down so that they do not fall off the desk when disconnected.  I like them because they are cute and colourful.  Cordies come with 3 individual loop spaces and is available at Quirky.com

Baby Baths Make A Great Baby Shower Gift

A friend of mine  invited me to her baby shower last weekend.  It was great to see her and everyone had a nice time at the shower.  I was looking around for a nice gift for her baby a week before the shower and decided to get the Flexi-bath.  It is a hard plastic children’s bathtub made from polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomeric.   What is so special about this bath is that the corners and non-slip bottom of the bath have TPE lines which enables the bathtub to be folded flat easily with a touch of the hand.  Designed by Danish Company, A Real Cool World, the bath can be stored anywhere in the house.  How space-saving eh?  I bought the green bathtub for my friend’s baby.  Also available are pink/red/blue/transparent and turquoise.  Check out Gizmag.com.

Decorating Children’s Bedroom

My soon-to-be 5 year old has been asking me to decorate her bedroom.  She told me that she wants her own room (we have been co-sleeping).  My baby is growing up fast.  It seems like just yesterday I was popping those prenatal vitamins.  I have been looking around for some ideas and spotted these cool stickers from Hu2.com.

Watch A Chip Off The Old Block Online

I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas celebration.  While hubs was fiddling with the faucets in the bathrooms during the holidays, I spent my time watching A Chip Off The Old Block online.  I enjoy watching this comedy a lot because I like 60’s fashion.  Also my favourite actors and actresses are in this 20-episode drama.  They are Ron Ng, Myolie Wu and Shirley Yeung.  I have watched 8 episodes so far.  What about you? Are you a fan of A Chip Off The Old Block too?  Next drama on my list is The Watchdog’s Tale.  I just can’t wait.

Finger Tongs To Protect Your Fingers When Cooking

Sometimes when I cook, I would use my fingers to flip the food.  Eventhough I have the spatula with me, it’s still not enough to help me turn some food over.  I’m too lazy to walk over to the other side of my kitchen to get a pair of  chopsticks or a fork to help me.  Hence, I get my fingers burned sometimes. Things That I Want To Do Now

Oh boy, there are so many things which I have to do but so little time.  I better move my derriere and get started real soon.   Here is a list of things that I have to do.

1.  Check out some Toronto hotels as I wish to spend a White Christmas in Toronto.

2.  Start shopping for Christmas gifts for my family and friends.

3.  Give my home a makeover or rather my living room.

4.  Start painting my guest room and decorate it.  My 4 year old has been requesting for her own room.

5.  Lose 10 pounds before Christmas.

6.  Get a Roots Canada tee.  Did I say I love Canada and all things Canadian?
