Bleached Brows Are In?

Celebrities are bleaching their brows lately and this only mean one thing – bleached eyebrows are making a major comeback. Stars like Kim Kardashian and Julia Fox were experimenting with peroxide-blond brows back in 2022 and they returned to their natural color shortly after that. At the beginning of this year, Joey King and Sabrina Carpenter were spotted with bleached brows. Just a few days ago, Miley Cyrus was spotted on the 97th Annual Academy Awards embracing this beauty trend. As usual with her thinking outside the box trait’, Miley did not attend the Oscar with the classically glamorous look. She matched her bleached brows with a rock-and-roll infused ensemble which is a beaded black halter neck dress and short black lace gloves. She completed her makeup look with nude lip, black eyeliner and contoured cheeks. Needless to say, her brows were the centerpiece of her glam look.

At the recent trip to Paris for the Le Grand Diner du Louvre, 62-year old Michelle Yeoh isn’t afraid to experiment with beauty. She came wearing a one shoulder Balenciaga black dress and pale eyebrows to match. This isn’t the first time Yeoh has surprised and delighted her fans with her beauty choices. During the Los Angeles Wicked premiere in November, she lived the Galinda life for a night and wore a fluffy, curly blonde wig on the red carpet. Brow bleaching is a low-commitment way to transform your look and make a big impact.

Bleached brows have been an on-again-off-again beauty trend since the early ‘90s.  A few years ago, these barely-there brows began popping up as a street style trend during Paris Fashion Week and this year they’re coming in hotter than ever. Love ‘em, hate ‘em, or feel totally indifferent towards them, it seems like bleached brows are here to stay.
