Recycled Acessories

I found some really cool recycled accessories while surfing the net.  Thought I’ll share them with you here.

This super-soft and simple scarf is made from unused, reclaimed cotton T-shirt scraps that are collected from apparel factories.  Wear one and it will make you feel like you are cuddling up in your favourite tee at home.

These messenger-style tote are made from real boat sails.  Each bag has an authenticity tag which unfurls the life of the sail, the type of craft it guided, the type of sail it was and the sea it sailed upon.

This versatile accessory can be used as a necklace, headband, bracelet to a anklet.  It is made from leftover t-shirt scraps collected from apparel factories.  Each necklace includes 20 strings.

Its collection is just awesome.   I just want to get my hands on the sweaters (I know, it is too warm over here to wear them), tops, pants and just about everything.  Below are a few pieces which I love.

Ballet Flats Are Wardrobe Staples In Every Closet

I was relaxing on the log furniture after dinner at my friend’s house a few days ago when she brought out her new pair of ballet flats to show me.  I was over the moon to see her shoes.  In case you don’t know, I am into ballet flats now.  They are just the prettiest shoes on earth.  Ultra feminine and oh so stylish, the ballet flats are very popular for those who want to dress up without adding height or putting a strain on your feet.  My friend bought hers from Pretty Ballerinas.  Below are a few of my favorite ballet flats.   The one in red may soon be mine.

No More Wardrobe Malfunction

When I am shopping for tops, I have to refrain from buying some of them because they are low cut.   I know I could wear a tube inside but it doesn’t look good all the time.  I am glad that I finally found something which allows me to wear low cut tops without me fidgeting 🙂  It is a lil button called  Bosom Button which can hold the clothing in place better than safety pins or tape.  Bosom Button is made with sparkling Swarovski crystals and pearl cabochons.   With the Bosom Button, I do not have to worry about my gaping shirt anymore.  Available at Solutions.com.

How To Hide Flabby Arms

Lately, I have taken a liking to cardigans.  I like cardis because they are very versatile.  I can always wear a sleeveless top with a cardi over it so that my flabby arms are not visible.  I have never worn any sleeveless tops before. Well, not when I am out of the house because  I am very conscious of my flabby arms.  With the cardis, I can wear whatever tops I want now.  Perhaps I should get myself an elliptical trainer to stay in shape and tone my arms eh?

Zara Fall 2010 Collection

Zara is one of my favourite stores.  I love its clothing and accessories.  Its everyday casual wear is so chic and stylish.  Zara has recently launched its Fall 2010 campaign.  There are a few pieces of clothing which I absolutely adore, especially the knitwear in soft, neutral mute colours.  Love the Fall colours.  Zara Fall 2010 collection is so simple and cosy looking. The campaign featured model Toni Garrn and was shot by photographer David Sims.

Summer Sales At Calypso St. Barth

My husband and I were in the mood for some online shopping last night.  While he was checking out some vga cables, I hopped over to Calypso-Celle.com for some retail therapy.  Boy, I so love their tunics.  I keep telling myself that I should get one and pair it with my shorts but I still couldn’t find one which I really like.   I think every woman should have at least one tunic in their wardrobe.  They are ultra comfortable and so chic too.  Below are a few pieces which I like from Calypso St. Barth.  Good news is that they are having a great sale right now.
