UrbanOutffiters is one of my favourite stores. I just love their clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. Everything about them in fact. I know, some of their items are rather pricey so most of the time I would just ‘window-shop’. I was at their website a while ago and I saw a few pieces under $50 which I like. Time for some shopping again 🙂

I love totes made of fabrics, especially those made from gunny, burlaps or recycled material. I was browsing Etsy.com and stumbled upon some lovely totes at Vintage Junky Style. The totes were constructed using scraps from vintage grain sacks. How lovely! The totes are very sturdy and have been prewashed for softness. Another reason why I like these totes is because each of them also feature a removable flower corsage whihc was created from new and vintage materials. I remember when I was pregnant 6 years ago, it was so hard to find stylish, comfortable and affordable maternity clothes. I hated those tent-like dresses that made me looked like a whale. Pregnant mommies now are far more lucky. Besides popping the best prenatal vitamin, they have access to a wide range of chic maternity tops, bottoms and dresses available. My 5-month pregnant cousin just dropped by home yesterday, while on her way to her doctor’s office to get some prenatal multivitamins. I must say that my cousin is looking fabulous eventhough she’s pregnant. My cousin was dressed casually but she looked really great. Her maternity outfit is from Gap. Here is what she wore yesterday.

I was looking for some fabulous laptop deals online when my friend called to say that she has bought a pair of lovely jelly sandals. She knows how much I like the jelly sandals because they are so comfortable and stylish. My friend bought a pair of open toe pink Nina Duffy flat with rhinestone details from HSN. I prefer the clear design and can’t wait for it to arrive.
It was the long weekend and I did not do much for the past few days, except going out with some friends on Saturday night and a barbecue last night. I spent the mornings and afternoons doing some work online, reading about irvingia weight loss and then surfed the internet for a while. Besides busy popping prenatal vitamin, my cousin who is 4 months pregnant has been on the lookout for a pair of maternity jeans. It is very hard to find one that fits just right. When I was pregnant, I couldn’t find one that fits me. I was miserable because I love wearing jeans. It is so comfortable and I can just basically do everything in the jeans. My cousin wants to wear maternity jeans throughout her pregnancy and she asked me if I know where she can find some amazing ones. The first place that came to my mind is Gap. Ok, I know the clogs are not exactly appropriate for the beach but I just love its design and colour. They do look well when paired with shorts, no?
A friend of mine told me that she received a very special gift on Mother’s Day, given to her by her husband, on behalf of their 4 year daughter. It is the Mother and Daughter Tote Bag which I am sure every mother would love to have. The bag is equipped with an extra handle for the child to help mom with it. Children are always happy and proud to lend the adults a helping hand. This trendy bag also promote safe shopping as the children will be so occupied with helping the adults with the bag that they will be less likely to wander. What a cool bag eh? My friend loves the bag and she told me that it seems like just yesterday she was popping the best prenatal vitamins. Now her baby has grown up so much and even made her a Mother’s Day card.
I love to switch handbags and usually my bags are fairly big. Yes, I love big, roomy bags. I put everything in my bag except the kitchen sink 🙂 However, it is always a big headache for me when I transfer bags because of the things I have to take out.
