Denim Style For Spring/Summer 2009

Jeans are a staple piece that every woman should have in her wardrobe.  It is the most versatile item that one can buy.  Every woman needs at least one pair that would make her feel sexy and sophisticated.  One of the key trend this spring/summer is a pair of skinny jeans and fashionistas all over are talking about it. While shopping around, I found this pair of fantastic MatchstickJeans from JCrew.  It is really trendy and perfect when paired with flats, open-toe heels or tucked into boots.  What I like about this skinny jean is that it slims through the hip and thigh and has a straight narrow legs.  If you want to look chic during the hot weather, get a pair of Matchstick Jeans today.  As for me, I would need to pop some diet pills before I could wear one.  Skinny jeans are not exactly figure-flattering for those who have a curvy figure.  Perhaps a high-waisted skinny jeans would look good on me.

Sweater Dress From Banana Republic

One of my favourite stores is Banana Republic.  I was just browsing their website earlier and couldn’t take my eyes off this Shiny Pleated Sweater Dress from their Spring collection.  I love the shade of this dress (Moroccan Camel) and also the vertical stripes on it.  This viscose sweater dress has a slimming effect and is great for both work and a night out.  Guess I won’t need to take the best weight loss pills in town in order to look slim in this lovely number.

A Must-Have In Every Woman’s Wardrobe

I was browsing the internet earlier today and fell in love with this timeless wrap dress from Banana Republic. A wrap dress is such a flattering piece of clothing and complements all figures.  This classic dress does not go out of style and never fail to impress.  This long-sleeve faux wrap dress is made of 95% rayon and 5% spandex.  It is available in matte navy or silky coal. A steal at $98.  I have just placed my order online and can’t wait for it to arrive.  In the meantime, I better start working out on my elliptical if I want to look good in my long-sleeve faux wrap dress.

Timberland Gold Boots

I stumbled upon the Timberland Urban Gold Dolce Vista Womens boots at Shop.com today.  This sweet pair of metallic leather upper boots is pretty eye-catching. Its tongue collar is padded for a comfortable fit around the ankle.  The footbed is padded too for extra comfort.  The Timberland boots has rubber outsole for traction and durability.  However, I don’t think I can picture myself wearing one.  Gold is not my colour 🙂 Well, if you are into hip hop fashion, then go get yourself a pair 🙂  They were $123 and now going for $69 only.

From Bag To A Ball

My husband loves to collect watches and I think he has over 30 now.  Whenever we are at the mall, he would stop by all the shops that sell watches and spend some time browsing them.  His favouite brands are Bell & Ross and Oris.  Right now he is eyeing one of those Chronotech watches and has been checking them out whenever he is out or on the internet.  Just the other day, I saw some Guess watches online and I really like their designs.  Would be great if I have one for my coming birthday 😉
