I have just been received an invitation to a birthday party today.  It is the birthday party of the son of my hubs’ business partner.   The party will be held in 2 week’s time.  I have been cracking my head what present to buy for the toddler and went online to check out some things.  I saw this cute Boost booster seat from Perpetual Kid and I think it is just perfect for him.

This booster is made of foam and is light-weight, soft, durable and washable.  Good for kids from age 3.  I find it really fun and practical.

June is really a busy month for me.  There is a wedding dinner, a birthday party and not to mention, Father’s Day celebration.  While combing the internet for some gift ideas, I came across this really beautiful reusable fabric gift wrap from ChewingTheCud.com.  What a brilliant way to gift wrap a present for a special occasion.  It is beautiful and practical.  The fabric is made from organic cotton and the prints are hand-printed.  This fabric can be used over and over again.

Ok, enough about gifts and gift wraps.  I better start looking for some good acne treatments as I want to look good during these special ocassions.

I just realized that my closet is full of long sleeve tops.  Eventhough some of them are light cotton, the hot weather these days is making it impossible to wear them.  I should get more short-sleeve tops like the ones shown below.

These tops from Gap are versatile and very comfortable.  They are just perfect for the hot weather and I know I can just wear them everyday with a pair of jeans or capri.  I have never worn a sleeveless top before because I have flabby arms.  I would love to be able to wear a ruffled-front tank top like the one shown below but I know I look horrible in it.  If I can get myself some of the best weight loss pill and lose those flabby arms, then I may just get myself a sleeveless top.

More Shopping For Me

There are a couple of things I need to do today. I have to find a housewarming gift for a party this weekend and shop for a few casual shirts to go with my shorts. I found a few shirts that I like from JCrew. Check out this three-quarter sleeve stretch shirt. It is made of lightweight cotton and is slim-fitting.

Another one that I like is this classic washed chambray shirt. It has a flattering slim fit and roll-up sleeves. Both the shirts look good when paired with shorts or pedal pushers.

Nice huh? Now that I have found the shirts I want, I better start doing the other 2 tasks.
