Gucci has a new selection of distressed sneakers from its Cruise 2019 collection. Inspired by the ’70s, the sportswear-inspired kicks are dubbed the “Screener GC sneaker” and are highlighted by their already-worn aesthetic. The bizarre ‘vintage’ and ‘old-school’ trainers, which are made in Italy, cost $A1175 and are worn-in all over the sole and upper. Selling the sneakers complete with intentional scuff marks for that price has raised eyebrows online. What’s your take on this?
