Watch A Fistful of Stances Final Episode Online

I know I’ve blogged about watching A Fistful of Stances online earlier but guess what?  I have yet to watch this drama.  I have been so busy lately that I don’t have the time to sit in front of my laptop to watch it.   There have been so many good reviews about this drama and even the final 2 episodes were a bit of a tear jerker.  A Fistful of Stances is also one of the best dramas in 2010 as voted by many netizens.  Like I said earlier, this drama has very good casts and my favorites are Kara Hui, Kelvin Cheng, Kenneth Ma and Dominic Lam.  I better make some time to watch this drama this coming weekend.  Nothing is better than having some cappuccinos in one of the promotional mugs which I received recently with some cookies while enjoying a good drama.

Upon Yu Cheung’s return home, he was shocked to learn that his younger brother, Koo Yu Tong, is suffering from a critical illness. What is more shocking for Yu Cheung was that their father was murdered by Wing Tak, the owner of a medicinal company as well as the bitter rival of the Koo family.

Yu Cheung never liked kung-fu but has always shown potential for the arts. His potential in kung-fu shine even brighter when he takes on Wing Man Kwan, Wing Tak’s son.

Wai-Lan places all her hopes on Yu Cheung to take on the Wing family. She even taught Yu Cheung a special set of kung-fu skills that was created by the Koo family. Wai-Lan even registers Yu Cheung for the Guangdong Boxing Championship, and as fate would have it, Yu Cheung’s opponent at the tournament happens to be Man-Kwan!

Yu Cheung achieved tremendous success in martial arts but his success also makes him lose his bearings. He is caught in a love triangle with Ying Ngan Ming (Wai-Lan’s apprentice) and Chow Mui Mui, his dream girl. Yu Cheung’s confusion in love as well as his exhaustion with kung-fu caused him to fall in the final tournament.

Will Yu Cheung sort out his problems in time to save the Koo family?

Watch TVB 42nd Anniversary Awards Presentation Online

The TVB 42nd Anniversary Awards Presentation was held last night.  I am so happy that my favorite actor, Wayne Lai has won the Best Actor award for his portrayal as “Chai Gau” in the drama Rosy Business.  Sheren Tang took home the Best Actress award last night and Rosy Business is the Best Series.  Yay!!!  Congratulations to all the winners.  Have you watched this show yet?  If you haven’t, hurry and go watch it.  I just watched it online just a while ago.  All the actors and actresses were dressed to the nines.  The ladies were clad in beautiful gowns and the men wore smart tuxedos.  Some were more flamboyant like Moses and Ron Ng. I think they would look better in tuxedo vest. Here are some photos of the Red Carpet.

Watch The Stew of Life Drama Online

I have just started to watch The Stew of Life online and boy, I do enjoy this drama.  It is a family comedy series starring Louise Lee, Fala Chen, Christine Ng, Timmy Hung and many more.   The story revolves around the family of cookery teacher.  So you can imagine how much good food is being shown in this 30 episode drama.  There are always some wonderful soup or dishes mentioned in the show as Louise Lee plays a mother/wife who has the opportunity to host a culinary show on tv.  My tummy is always growling whenever I see her whipping some mouth-watering dishes.  I better get myself some best diet pills because I am only at Episode 3 and I am so inspired to cook some of the dishes mentioned in the show.

Watch Beyond The Realm Of Conscience Online

broc

I am currently watching Beyond The Realm Of Conscience online now. What a long title eh?  It is one of the grand production by TVB this year.  I have been waiting to watch this costume drama ever since I saw the previews. I like the veteran casts such as Michelle Yim, Suzanna Kwan, Kara Hui and a few others.  This is the first time that I am seeing Tavia Yeung being portrayed as a villain.   Who is your favourite character?

Synopsis

Imperial Household Bureau is responsible for managing and directing all household services to the Emperor and the Imperial family in Tang Dynasty. It is composed of four departments, namely Jewels, Attire, Food and Furnishings. Lau Sam-ho (Charmaine Sheh) and Yiu Kam-ling (Tavia Yeung) are introduced into the bureau in their tender age and brought up in the disciplines of the palace. The two girls are diligent. Yuen Tsui-wan (Susanna Kwan), Head of the Jewels, and Chung Suet-ha (Michelle Yim), Head of the Attire, are both very fond of Ho for she is a kind-hearted young girl. Soon, they start fighting for the fellowship of Ho.

Ho always remembers her mother’s words left to her before she passed away, that she was told, “Doing good deeds, speaking good words, showing good will.” She lives her life of being gracious and kind-hearted in the palace. On the other hand, Ling believes her survival in palace is achieved through cruel and calculating tactics. She cheats and schemes her way to the top and finally becomes the concubine. Though she realizes that Ho has fallen in love with the chess master Ko Hin-yeung (Kevin Cheng), her jealousy still arouses by Ho’s attraction to the Emperor Lee Yi (Moses Chan). Fearing that she is losing power, she ruthlessly makes up a false allegation against Ho for murdering the Empress (Mary Hon) and condemns her to death. No matter how clever she is to scheme, things do not go the way she planned. By using a strong comparison of the two distinctive characters, Ho and Ling, the message of the drama is that “benevolence” is the only way to gain final victory.
